Leather, The New Denim.

I've been slightly obsessed with these leather shorts lately...well actually anything leather. I love the feeling of leather and how I feel when I put it on. It gives a outfit that little bit of edge that it needs.

I'm so blessed so live in sunny Los Angeles, where I can still pull off shorts in the middle of Autumn.

You might have noticed that I'm basically all black and white from head to toe. I love how classic a black and white outfit is especially with an added pop of red or gold. I feel like this color combination can never go wrong.

I've been obsessed with this color combination so much that I've taken on wearing it on my nails. Have you tried a white mani yet? It's amazing, it goes with everything.

I'm wearing one of my favorite lipstick here. Guerlain's Rouge G de Guerlain Jewel Lipstick Compact. Most lipsticks usually dries out my lips, but this one always keeps my lips moisturized and bright.

Causal Jersey Maxi

With the weather being so hot lately, can you believe that summer is almost over?! It seems like it only started not long ago...

On these lazy summer days, I like to quickly throw on a maxi dress and scandals before I head out for brunch or shopping with friends. I love how simple it is, you don't really have to think about what top to match with what bottom, you just have to slip into a dress. It's quick yet still stylish.

I  love how soft and flowy this jersey dress with, I feel like I can almost fall asleep in it.

When wearing something as simple as this black maxi dress, I like to dress it up with accessories. I paired this dress with a beige studded belt that I got a while back from Zara, a white clutch from Rebecca Minkoff, and of course some arm candy. Since this dress is very easy going and flowy, I decide add some delicate jewelry.

Nautical Blue

It's officially summer, and you all know what that means - white everything! Lately, I've been obsessed with wearing white - white jeans, white shorts, white shirts, I've done it all. It doesn't help that black and white is extremely popular this season...and July 4th is just a few days away!

I found these pair of J Brand jeans and I completely fell in love with them. The navy blue piping seams gives these pair of jeans a very sleek and nautical chic look. I paired this pair of jeans with a sheer navy blue blouse and black pumps to complete this look.

Did I mention that I'm obsessed with white? I've been attached to this white Rebecca Minkoff clutch. I love the little cutout details on the front.

Happy (early) Independence Day everyone!

Red, White & Blue

Lately I've been challenging myself to put together outfits with unexpected colors - orange and blue, orange and black, and even red, white, and blue - sounds a little terrifying right? First thing that comes up to mind when I think of red, white, and blue is Independence day. There is nothing wrong with these colors. I've just always just associated them with July 4th and will probably ask where are the fireworks? And can I have a burger and beer?

I love the casual feel of the chambray mixed with the delicate and feminine details of the skirt.

Can we also take a minute to talk about how amazing these shoes are? We even stopped by this fountain to take shoe shots only, how gorgeous is that picture? Millie has a great eye for this :)

I hope this inspires you to try mixing some some unconventional colors together. Thank you for reading!

Spring Forward

I have always associated Spring with growth - butterflies coming out of their cocoon, flowers blooming, and baby animals being born...Maybe it's all of the Disney movies I use to watch. In the spirit of growth, I decided to "grow" and try something I'm usually hesitant about: printed pants. While I was a bit shy about trying something new, I am so glad that I did. These pants are so comfortable and easy to wear. I love how the brightness of my shirt and shoes contrast against the print of these pants.

'Tis the season to be daring. ;)
